THE GITE : more information
The Chez Ming gite holiday home is situated alongside a stream, Le Vert, at the edge of the village of Catus. You will receive a warm welcome at this delightful 2-bedroomed self-catering holiday home that occupies the whole of the ground floor of a beautifully restored 19th century stone house typical of the region. It is completely self-contained with its own entrance and parking bay and ample off-road parking.

Michele & Eddie, your French/British hosts, occupy the upper floors of the house. They value your privacy but are available to assist you if you need it.
​
The garden is fenced off and safe for children. There is a private terrace and shaded patio areas. A children's playhouse, petanque (French bowls) court, outdoor games, and swings are available.​

Services and amenities in the village include a well-stocked supermarket with petrol pump, a medical centre, pharmacy, butchery, restaurant, post office, newsagent, florist and hairdresser. The cash-dispensing machine in the village accepts most credit/debit cards.

Meet the local villagers during a stroll around the village or on your morning walk to the local boulangerie for your bread and croissants and at the year-round weekly market on Tuesday mornings in the main Boulevard.
A small playground is located near to the local school in the village. The Lac Vert leisure lake is a short 1km walk along a shaded path by a stream, Le Vert, which borders the gite.

OFF-SEASON VISITS
The Lot département of France has its own special charm in autumn and winter and the gite is well-equipped with full central heating from mid October to mid May.
